This original design was created using Mary Maxim Northland yarn, which had 80 yds per skein at that time. But now, with a larger variety of  to choose from, you can customize this project to match your own favorite colors. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We recommend with 80 yds per skein. All you need are U.S. sizes 7 (4.5mm) and 10 (6mm)  to begin! You can find more sports themed projects !
